Clawdbot

I set up Clawdbot about five days ago and I can’t stop thinking about it. I have it building a little app for me, occasionally I’ll open it up on my phone, nudge it along and watch it go. Somehow I’ve become a software engineer overnight and it’s very exciting.

What surprised me the most is the mindset shift. My default thought used to be: how can I do this? Who should I call? Now it’s: how can I explain this so Clawdbot can build it for me?

Software is only 4% of the US GDP so maybe this isn’t going to change things as much as I think it will. But on a personal level it already has. My instinct has changed in less than a week.

I love living in this era of change. At the same time, I feel a heavy pressure to set my family up for success before all the jobs are handed off to robots and we all manage off the same monthly government handout.
